Also studied and taught Psychology at undergraduate and high school level (Life Orientation). Have also taught English as a second language (ESL) to school (K1-12) and university students in preparation for TOEFL, TOEIC, TESOL, TEFL and EAP.
My teaching approach is a student-centered approach involving preparation of worksheets for students to practice what they have learned. Using a holistic approach where the subjects are always related to the real world and other related subjects.
Students learn better in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere and thus I depend on my sense of humor to keep the students relaxed and engaged in the lesson.

Course setup
I have been a teacher for more then 20 years teaching from kindergarten to post-graduate university students. Class sizes has ranged from 1-1 to 30 students per class. Learning growth curve seems to be higher in the lower grades that I've taught. But I have seen many of my students graduate to go to university and some have themselves have become PhD students.
