About Aghoghovwia Jefferson

I hold a B.Sc in Mathematics and Economics. I am currently a teacher in Parents' Pearl School where I teach upper primary preparing pupils for common entrance examinations. I have also taught in Paragon Group of Schools, Mathematics and Economics. My skills include the ability to work cooperatively with others to achieve shared goals, showing diplomacy and flexibility where there are conflicting opinions, supporting other people's performance to achieve the best results. The ability to take control of situations and to lead by empowering others into an effective team. Inspiring and energizing others to carry out tasks and achieve goals by displaying a clear sense of direction and value.

About the lesson

I have been teaching Maths for the past 7 years to students at homes and at schools. Those who I have taught came testifying how I have alleviated their phobia for the subject. I possess the skills of making complex Mathematical questions comprehensible to students. I have the subject knowledge of Mathematics and in-depth experience. I have absolute passion for Mathematics and the technical skills for teaching it run in my veins. I am a lifelong learner and this has given me a broader knowledge of the subject. I have committed myself to effectively teaching Maths and I approach Maths lessons with a high level of patience each time I teach the subject (Maths). In addition, I'm a great problem solver. I often come up with weird and wacky ways of teaching complicated concepts in Maths. Furthermore, I possess good communication skills in teaching Maths. Finally, I possess a great sense of humor while teaching Maths.
