About Freya
With over 20+ years of teaching experience and more than 5760 students successfully trained, I have helped learners build strong guitar skills while achieving meaningful musical accomplishments. My experience includes complete beginners, hobby musicians, aspiring performers, examination candidates, and individuals pursuing advanced musical studies.
Many former students have performed at concerts, joined bands, composed original music, earned music qualifications, and developed impressive performance abilities. Several have continued into professional music environments and advanced educational programs. Their achievements demonstrate how structured learning and consistent mentorship can create lasting success.
I believe guitar is an instrument that encourages creativity, self-expression, and lifelong learning. My mission is to help learners achieve technical excellence, musical confidence, and a genuine passion for performing and creating music.

Guitar lessons are designed to help learners develop strong technical abilities while encouraging creativity, confidence, and musical expression. Training includes acoustic guitar, electric guitar, rhythm playing, lead guitar, fingerstyle techniques, scales, chord progressions, improvisation, ear training, songwriting, music theory, and performance preparation. Lessons are adapted to each learner’s experience level and musical interests to ensure enjoyable and effective progress.
Students participate in practical playing exercises, rhythm development workshops, improvisation activities, song-learning projects, technical refinement sessions, listening analysis, and guided practice routines. Lessons focus on helping learners understand the musical concepts behind their playing while developing performance confidence and technical accuracy.
Advanced learners explore advanced fingerstyle arrangements, solo construction, improvisational mastery, composition techniques, recording preparation, live performance skills, ensemble collaboration, and professional musicianship development. This methodology helps learners become versatile musicians capable of performing confidently across multiple musical styles.
