About Juan

-I'm a Philosophy student at UNAM
-I studied high school at the Modern American School.
-I have extensive knowledge in History, Geography (especially Political), Universal Literature, Logic, Ethics, Reading Comprehension in Spanish and English.
-I have full mastery of English.
-I have adequate knowledge in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology and other Natural Sciences.
-I have presented the UNAM exam 3 times and I have accredited it 3 times. I know the exam and the modalities of its questions.

About the lesson

It depends a lot on the subject, but usually I try to avoid the same approach that they use in my student's school because, in general, that is what creates problems for the student and not some disability on his / her part.

For the social sciences and humanities I usually take a less traditional approach and I seek to incorporate the knowledge of the other disciplines in what I am reviewing with my student. This provides a capacity for understanding and criticism that are vital for the Social Sciences and Humanities.
For the natural sciences I tend to be more conservative. I sit next to them and review concepts that later apply them to exercises. However, I do seek to incorporate elements of analysis that, in my experience, result in a greater understanding and interest on the part of students in the natural sciences; even in those who usually run away from them.

I offer to charge $500 for 2 consecutive class hours. I've found that 1 hour is generally insufficient to cover in depth whatever I'm reviewing with my student. It's also more confortable for me to have 2 hours available in order to achieve the quality that I'm aiming for. Due to this double cause situation, I decide to reduce the tariff.
