About Nathan
With more than 8+ years of experience as a piano tutor, I have worked with students from different backgrounds including school students, college learners, and working professionals. I am dedicated to making piano learning easy and engaging. My teaching style is based on flexibility, communication, and practical learning.
I customise my lessons according to each student’s needs and pace, ensuring they clearly understand every concept. I teach piano along with music theory, rhythm training, and ear development to help students build strong musical skills. I also include song-based learning to keep lessons interesting.
My unique skill is breaking down difficult topics into simple steps so students can learn without confusion. I help students improve their technique, confidence, and consistency, and guide them in maintaining effective practice routines. I create a friendly and encouraging environment where students feel motivated to learn.

My teaching methodology focuses on inspiring, flexible, and creative piano lessons. I believe learning piano should be a journey of self-expression, creativity, and technical skill. Through consistent communication, I learn about each student’s goals, challenges, and learning style, which allows me to design lessons that are tailored, effective, and motivating.
Creativity is central to my approach. Students are encouraged to improvise, compose, and experiment with different musical styles, helping them develop a personal voice and artistic confidence. Flexibility ensures lessons are adapted to the student’s pace, skill level, and preferred learning style, fostering a supportive and productive learning environment.
In addition to piano, I teach music theory, sight-reading, rhythm exercises, and ear training. This comprehensive methodology develops both technical mastery and musical understanding. My aim is to nurture confident, expressive, and lifelong musicians who enjoy performing and exploring music.
