About Olivia
With 15 years of experience teaching Piano, I have worked with students from diverse backgrounds, including school students, college students, and working professionals. I enjoy helping learners discover their potential and experience the joy of making music.
My teaching philosophy is based on patience, consistency, and personalised learning. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt my methods to match individual strengths, goals, and interests.
Students in my classes learn piano fundamentals, scales, chords, rhythm exercises, sight reading, ear training, music theory, improvisation, and performance skills. I also teach efficient practice techniques that help students improve with confidence.
In addition to Piano, I teach keyboard techniques and music reading. These complementary subjects strengthen overall musicianship and support long-term growth.
I strive to create a positive and motivating environment where students feel encouraged to learn and explore. My mission is to help every student become a confident musician while enjoying the learning process.

My teaching philosophy combines communication, creativity, flexibility, patience, and practical learning. I believe piano education should help students grow not only as musicians but also as confident and disciplined individuals. Every lesson is designed according to each student's learning pace and personal goals.
Students first develop a strong foundation by learning posture, hand coordination, finger exercises, rhythm, note reading, and music theory. As their skills improve, they continue with scales, chords, pedal techniques, dynamics, sight reading, expressive performance, and musical interpretation.
I use demonstrations, listening exercises, and practical activities to make learning enjoyable and easy to understand. Students receive personalised feedback after every lesson and are encouraged to practise regularly with clear goals.
Students learn music from different styles while improving creativity through accompaniment, improvisation, and expressive performance. These activities strengthen confidence and encourage artistic expression.
Besides piano, I teach keyboard techniques, rhythm development, ear training, music theory, sight reading, music appreciation, and performance preparation. These additional lessons provide balanced musical development.
My aim is to help students become independent learners who enjoy playing the piano and continue growing throughout their musical journey.
