About Khomotso

I come from a disadvantaged background, but that never defined my passion, drive, and ambitions. I am an Oscar-nominated actress, whose passion was seen at the tender age of 11. I have gained the recognition of Roger Ebert, receiving his famous 'Thumbs Up' award for best actress, I have received a SAFTA and been awarded 'Glamour Women of the Year 2012' when I was in grade 9. My life has been a challenging and fun journey although with everything, I have earned my stripes as a performer. I went to The National School of the Arts in Johannesburg, and Oakfields College, majoring in Dramatic Arts and Film, TV, and Video Production, so I'm also an experienced filmmaker and photographer.

About the lesson

The Alexander Technique is one of the most important things we will be practicing in our classes. It's all about fixing one's posture, breathing accordingly and properly, articulation, and many more. All of these techniques are practiced daily to help each student learn how to be neutral and allow themselves and their creative space to adapt effortlessly.

Perfect! Kgomosto is a very helpful and supportive teacher. She pushes you so the you can produce the best work, she does it with kindness and care. I would highly recommend Kgomosto. Her experience in the industry is also very helpful. So she won’t only teach you the craft but if asked the right questions, about the industry as well. She teaches you techniques that will assist you in becoming your character with bit more ease and authenticity.

Oh wow I am hapy to announce that Simthandile got her first role in a film after our three day training. She was such an amazing student, willing, talented and ready to process all the important information on performing arts within a short space of time. This is my happiest moment so far in 2021, my student is happy and ready for the world of film making, and with confince I believe she will be the best South Africa is yet to see.

Khomotso is a special soul she is the most patient person who is willing to go the extra mile with anything she puts her mind to. She takes her time to understand someone thought process as well.
