Hi, I’m Michael — a 4th-year medical student (going into final year) at Cardiff University with a strong academic record and a passion for helping others succeed. Hi! I'm Michael, a 4th-year medical student at Cardiff University with first-hand experience of the competitive medical school application process. I teach with the mindset of, "What would I have wanted to know when I was applying?" – and I tailor every session around that principle. ️My Methodology: My sessions are highly personalised and interactive. I focus on: Building confidence, not just knowledge. Using realistic mock interviews (MMI and panel) with structured feedback. Providing personal statement support, from brainstorming to polishing final drafts. Teaching how to reflect like a future medic, which is often the difference between a good answer and a great one. I’m friendly, patient, and honest — I’ll always tell you what you’re doing well and where you can improve. ️ Lesson Length: Typical session: 60 minutes Longer mock interview prep: 90 minutes (if preferred) Qualifications & Experience: 4th-year medical student at Cardiff University 4 A*'s at A level (Chemistry, Physics, Biology and Philosophy) Experience coaching Year 12/13 students on med applications Background in mentoring and peer teaching.
