  • 1) When did you develop an interest in your chosen field and in private tutoring?

My interest in law developed early during my academic journey, when I realized how powerful legal knowledge is in shaping societies, protecting rights, and resolving real-world problems. Over time, this interest naturally extended into teaching. I found that explaining complex legal concepts to peers not only strengthened my own understanding but also gave me genuine satisfaction.
Private tutoring became a natural path for me because it allows personalized interaction, where I can adapt explanations to each student’s needs and help them build confidence alongside subject mastery.
  • 2) Tell us more about the subject you teach, the topics you like to discuss with students (and possibly those you like a little less).

I teach a wide range of law subjects, including International Law, European Law, Public Law, Tort Law, Administrative Law, Business Law, Jurisprudence, Legal Drafting, Labor Law, and General Law. I also prepare students for the LSAT, focusing on logical reasoning, analytical thinking, and exam strategy.

I particularly enjoy discussing topics that require critical thinking and interpretation, such as case law analysis, constitutional principles, and legal reasoning. These areas allow students to truly engage with the law rather than memorizing it. Some highly technical or repetitive areas can be challenging, but with the right structure and examples, even those become manageable and meaningful.
  • 3) Did you have any role models; a teacher that inspired you?

Yes, I was inspired by teachers who emphasized clarity, patience, and practical understanding rather than rote learning. The educators who had the greatest impact on me were those who encouraged questioning, discussion, and independent thinking. Their teaching style strongly influenced my own approach as a tutor today.
  • 4) What do you think are the qualities required to be a good tutor?

A good tutor must be patient, adaptable, and genuinely invested in the student’s progress. Clear communication is essential, especially in law, where concepts can easily become overwhelming. A tutor should also be supportive, structured, and able to adjust their teaching style based on the student’s level, learning pace, and confidence. Most importantly, a good tutor helps students believe in their own abilities.
  • 5) Provide a valuable anecdote related to your subject or your days at school.

During my early academic years, I struggled with understanding how abstract legal theories applied in real cases. It was only when a tutor broke down those theories using real-life examples and case scenarios that everything clicked. That experience shaped how I teach today—I always aim to bridge the gap between theory and practice so students don’t feel lost or discouraged.
  • 6) What were the difficulties or challenges you faced or still facing in your subject?

Like many law students, I initially found the volume of material and the complexity of legal language challenging. Over time, I learned that structured study methods, logical breakdowns, and consistent practice make even the most complex topics manageable. These challenges helped me develop strategies that I now pass on to my students, especially those dealing with exam pressure or anxiety.
  • 7) Do you have a particular passion? Is it teaching in general or an element of the subject or something completely different?

My passion lies in teaching and mentoring. Beyond legal knowledge, I am deeply interested in helping students develop confidence, discipline, and a positive academic mindset. This is why I also integrate elements of life coaching into my sessions—supporting students not just academically, but personally, especially those facing stress, anxiety, or self-doubt.
  • 8) What makes you a Superprof (besides answering this interview questions :-P)?

What makes me a Superprof is my commitment to personalized, student-centered learning. With over 700 hours of online teaching experience, I understand that every student is different. I combine strong subject knowledge with clear explanations, exam-focused strategies, and a supportive approach. My goal is not only to help students succeed academically, but also to empower them with skills and confidence they can use long after our lessons end.
