About Andrea
I love education, educating children and adults alike, and there is no greater joy for a student and teacher to see how we succeed. Even though I don't have a teacher certification, teaching a native language does not require an academic background, but the joy of teaching people a knowledge that came naturally. I am passionate in the field of culture and language and I hope I can transfer that excitement to my students.

Born and raised in Germany, I came to the US in 2001 and worked in customer service and health care till my retirement in 2023. After retirement, I moved to Germany for 12 months to travel, visiting family and friends and I realized that many people overseas speak English. I also homeschooled my children and incorporated German into their lesson plan. Realizing how many Americans come from a German heritage, I had the idea to offer German language courses to anyone interested, all age groups and all walks of life. I believe that my price range allows anyone seriously interested to apply and learn a language, rich in history and culture. I'm looking forward to teaching you in a variety of fun ways to learn a language that is difficult but not impossible to learn
