About Maya
I am half-English, half-German and went to school in Germany, so I have extensive knowledge of German grammar and vocabulary. Being bilingual helps me to understand the core differences between English and German and to explain them in a way that makes German more approachable. I used to teach english to German school children and am now looking to do the opposite here in Glasgow!

My teaching method is mainly through speaking and I encourage my students to talk as much as possible as I believe that confidence is key when learning a new language. I also focus on grammar and writing exercises as German grammar can be particularly difficult.
