I was working towards C1 and as such needed a highly skilled teacher. Luckily, I found Marlene on Superprof. She was able to talk me through the test, explain how each section works, and go through examples together. Perfect! Marlene has been really good at tailoring our lessons to what I need and gradually building in things that I didn't know I needed. My focus has been on building vocabulary to improve my reading comprehension and she has been really helpful with not just strategies for this but also ways to improve my grammar while I learn vocab. The exercises she set were suited to my level and she gave really useful feedback. She also gave me a lot of extra resources and showed me where I could find more.
Overall: Marlene was easy-going and friendly, flexible with our schedule, quickly grasped my level and could explain things in the target language in a way that I could understand. A real professional but a real person too! Thanks Marlene!
