About Tosin

I'm a first-class graduate of Obafemi Awolowo University, Osun State, where I studied German as a foreign language. I also have the international Goethe B2 certificate. I have been tutoring as an undergraduate since 2017 and have successfully helped over 200 students acquire the language, prepare for and successfully pass the Goethe examinations, and prepare for visa interviews and integration into German-speaking societies (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland). I like to describe language learning as a 50/50 process, that is, half the tutor's effort and half the student's effort. It takes discipline and dedication. However, I like to be fully part of my students' learning process. Language learning shouldn't be a boring process, and I incorporate audio-visual learning materials to bring the process to life. I try to understand the student's individual strengths and preferences and then tailor my classes accordingly. About the lesson

The curriculum will include grammar lessons as well as audio-visual and speaking sessions. All students are not the same, so I try to recognise individual strengths and weaknesses and tailor my approach accordingly to ensure effective tutoring. You will see that language learning can be fun!

She was attentive and interested, although a bit doubtful of her ability to understand a foreign language, but I made her understand she was up-to-the task as long as she stays disciplined and committed to making an effort and practicing consistently. I enjoyed our session together so far.
