About Myra
I am a geospatial analyst, I have been in the field and working with Geographic Information Systems for over 5 years. I have managed and taught GIS to a number of students and staff in various roles from universities, to start ups to Fortune 500 companies. I have employed GIS to analyze and visualize urban planning, real estate and environmental data sets in my own projects. I am a confident troubleshooter and enjoy solving problems in the spatial environment.

I am dynamic and adaptable in my teaching style. In different situations and for different people with different learning styles I might employ a step-by-step process for students to follow or a more hands on approach where we are working together to solve the problem. Oftentimes with GIS, the best way to learn is actually to do both - first by following along step by step and then working through the same process again on your own.
