My name is Jewel, and I love helping children discover that learning English can be fun, gentle, and something to feel proud of. I'm warm, patient, and endlessly encouraging — the kind of tutor who celebrates every little "aha!" moment.

I hold a Bachelor's degree and spent two years supporting the Head of Early Years (EYFS) in a Dubai school, which gave me a real appreciation for how young children learn and thrive. As a fluent English speaker, I focus on building strong foundations in phonics, pronunciation, reading, and speaking confidence — always at a pace that suits your child.

About the lesson

Hello, and welcome!

I offer warm, gentle English and phonetics lessons designed to help children learn happily and grow in confidence. My goal is simple: to make every young learner feel comfortable, encouraged, and excited about English — because children learn best when they're relaxed and having fun.

My approach
I keep lessons patient, playful, and pressure-free. We build phonics and pronunciation step by step, using lots of repetition, gentle correction, and plenty of encouragement. I like to mix in fun elements — reading aloud, simple conversation, listening games, and everyday examples — so learning feels natural rather than like hard work. Every child is different, so I adjust my pace and style to suit each learner and celebrate their progress along the way.

Lesson length
Sessions typically run 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the child's age and attention span, and can be adjusted to what works best for your little one.

My experience
I hold a Bachelor's degree and spent two years as an Executive Assistant to the Head of Early Years (EYFS) in a Dubai school, where I worked closely within an early-years environment and saw firsthand how young children learn and thrive. I'm a fluent English speaker, and I bring patience, warmth, and a genuine love for helping children feel confident.
