This August all my students achieved grade 7 and above with a 9 for literature plus 2 high A* IGCSE grades. 37yrs school experience grammar independent+comprehensives. 40+ pupils tutored since retiring 3 Yrs ago. Set targets provide regular weekly feedback on homework sent and marked in advance for each lesson. Devise many of my own materials and have banks of past papers from 4 exam boards. Also adapt lessons for pupils with mild dyslexia. Excellent top grades for orals experienced public speaking team coach winner. Read widely modern and classic novels, visit Theatre regularly, attend literary festivals and volunteer local Arts Centre. Above all I enjoy meeting young people.

Nicola was my IB English teacher for two years and she was truly the best English teacher I had. She is extremely professional, fair and organised.
