About HAYATO
My background:
I am a graduate student studying MSci Medicinal Chemistry at University College London and my overall grades are currently above 70% (1st Degree). Before college, I was studying at an international school in Bangkok, Thailand.
My career:
I originally started tutoring my friends in high school that wanted help with their studies (Chemistry GCSE and IB). When I became a 3rd year university student, I decided to become a tutor volunteer at Tutor The Nation. I have been tutoring students A-Level Chemistry for 6 months while doing my own studies. Some of my students have went to top universities such as Imperial College London.

I could teach GCSE, IB, and A-Level Chemistry to students aimed at age 14-18. My lessons would either be 60 or 90 minutes depending on the request of the student or parent.
I often teach students in a friendly and causal manner to improve engagement with students and enhance their motivation.
For my first lesson, I would usually do an introduction for the student to become more comfortable. I would then do a short knowledge check and set goals for the academic term (or for the summer course). My other lessons would be built based on the goal that is set.
My experience as a tutor would be 6 months and I have trained students that aim to enter top universities such as Imperial College London. I also have a qualified DBS check for tutoring.
