About Gus
Greetings, My name is Gus. I am a medical student at the University of Queensland who has scored a 73 (95th Percentile) overall for the GAMSAT and 90% on the UQ MMI. I have a strong passion for the humanities, scoring in the 100th percentile and have tutored over 50 students in the past 5 years. I help students dissect complex ideas and master the basics in argumentative writing in Section II. My aim is to equip you with the tools necessary to succeed in medical school and in the workplace. I offer a structured approach to essay writing and teach you the single method I used to secure a score in the 99th percentile for Humanities (77 & 80 for SII). I am also offering MMI tutoring as I scored 9+/10 for each station in the MMI and secured a CSP offer to study Medicine at Queensland University.
Typical lessons are an hour long and valued at $80 p/h. Discounts will be considered for students from disadvantaged backgrounds.
I have been tutoring for English for 5 years total - 2 at Kumon and 3 privately for GAMSAT.
