About Katie
I’m Katie, a proud Gaelgeoir who has been talking Irish her whole life. I life in the countryside with my partner and our cat. I’m an Accountant by day but have taught Irish grinds in the past. More recently I was a mentor on a programme funded by Údarás na Gaeltachta helping whereby I met withmy nominated mentee on a weekly basis and helped him/her with their Irish. I loved this experience and decided to return to giving Irish grinds.

As a native Irish speaker, I grew up immersed in the Irish Language. When I went to secondary school and realised that not everyone shared my love for the language, I began to think of ways to make Irish more interesting and fun. Learning a language should be fun and exciting. My lessons are geared towards those who want to improve, need some additional help but who also want to learn in a fun and safe environment.
