About Shanaaz
Hello, my name is Shanaaz and I am a second-year Bachelor of Education (Intermediate Phase) student. I specialize in Mathematics and Life Skills and have practical classroom experience supporting learners in the Intermediate Phase.
I am passionate about helping learners build strong foundations, improve their confidence and develop a positive attitude towards learning. My approach is patient, structured and learner-centered, ensuring that each lesson is adapted to the individual needs of the student.
As a future educator, I am committed to professionalism, preparation and creating a safe, encouraging learning environment where every learner feels capable of success.

As a second-year BEd Intermediate Phase student, I offer structured and supportive tutoring in Mathematics and Life Skills for Grade 4–6 learners. My approach is learner-centred and focused on building both understanding and confidence.
In Mathematics, I break down complex concepts into simple, manageable steps and use practical examples to make learning meaningful. In Life Skills, I encourage discussion, critical thinking and real-life application so learners can connect their knowledge to everyday situations.
I adapt each lesson to suit the learner’s pace and needs. I am proficient in English and Afrikaans and can teach comfortably in both languages.
A typical lesson includes revision, guided practice, interactive activities and feedback to ensure true understanding. My lessons are ideal for learners who need academic support, homework assistance, exam preparation or enrichment to reach their full potential.
