I provide patient, highly engaging academic tutoring specifically designed for elementary and middle school students (K-8) looking to master science, history, or essay writing.
My teaching method is entirely student centered. I don't believe in dry, boring memorization. Instead, I use relatable, everyday analogies to bring science concepts to life, and I approach history like an exciting story to make timelines stick. For writing and proofreading, I focus on helping students organize their thoughts logically so they can confidently discover their own voice on the page.
A typical 60-minute lesson with me follows a clear, low-stress structure
• The Warm-Up (5-10 mins)
A quick check-in to review previous concepts or address immediate questions from schoolwork.
• Core Concept Breakdown (20-25 mins)
We tackle the day's main focus (e.g., outlining an essay draft or breaking down a specific science topic) using interactive explanations.
• Guided Practice (15-20 mins)
The student takes the lead on an activity or writing prompt while I provide real-time, encouraging feedback.
• Wrap-Up & Game Plan (5 mins)
We summarize what we learned and map out next steps for their school week.
