About WEIFENG
I'm a fun IT master from Beijing, the capital city of China.
I have been living in Brisbane for almost 12 years.
Teaching Chinese is not my purpose but to make friends and delivery different culture.
If you are reading my intro here I believe you are 80% likely interested in Chinese culture, it could be the food, art, people and other aspects. This is cool and I like you :p
Through my 12 years living in Brisbane, I have made lots of friends, I exchange culture with them, taught them standard mandarin (the official language of China). But I like to share people with my Beijing accent, this is more fun and more useful in reality.

The language is always the key to open culture doors. As a foreigner in Australia, I deeply understand how important the language means to you in a foreign country, in particular a country in absolute culture difference. It's the tool of your daily life.
Textbook is an option of learning methods, it can help to build foundation, but I found it's tedious and not very practical.
I'm not a professional teacher, but learning language is not like maths or science, I believe learning language from enjoyment is the shortcut.
Beside teaching from textbook, I like to organise fun social activities for my friends (I don't say students) to participate, so they can utilise their language ability in reality. A lots of mistakes and funny moments are going to be made, but the mistakes won't be repeated because they will be well memorised and corrected, the fun will go on :)
