About Dario
I am finishing up my degree in Fine Arts with a major in Painting from the Alberta University of the Arts. Though languages are not a focus, I am highly interested in learning to teach others so that I can use these skills when traveling abroad.

Methodology will largely consist of figuring it out as we go along, sending worksheets to study which contain lists of word stems and roots, and mostly learning pronunciation, roots, and parts of speech through conversation. I can help you to learn words used in science and academia that may seem daunting by deconstructing them and and providing metaphors to help you remember them. "Deconstruct" for instance is made of the roots "de" meaning down, "con" meaning down, and "struct" meaning build. "Metaphor" comes from the roots "meta" meaning across, and "phor/fer/pher" meaning carry. Putting words together this way not only makes them feel easier, but the skills are applicable when learning languages other than English that have been influenced by the Latian, Greek, and Old Germainic. I am not including my resume because I have no relevant qualifications, but if you have any questions, please do not feel afraid to ask!
