Emi sensei is not only one of the most effective teachers I've ever worked with, she is also one of the most fun and friendly too.

Because she has excellent English skills, she was able to give especially clear and easy-to-follow explanations for some of the trickier grammar & usage points we worked on.

And for people who are interested in more conversational Japanese, she was also really great in helping to point out how everyday speakers use the language compared to some of the more neutral/polite Japanese given in textbooks.

I'm currently studying for the JLPT exam, and thanks to Emi's help, feeling really confident about being able to advance to the next level.

Emi is a great teacher. Whenever she doesn’t know the answer, she researches and comes back the next lesson with a detailed explanation. I feel comfortable making mistakes and testing my speech with Emi. She’s accommodating and kind. I cannot recommend Emi enough.
