About Toni
I currently work as a home school tutor teaching two children aged seven the national curriculum. I spend time both individually and as a group teaching a variety of subjects through an array of means. Often my teaching involves hand on lessons taking our learning outdoor or to different venues such as museum, national trust properties, castles or nature reserves. I am also a primary school teacher who specialises in ages three to seven but happy to teach any ages from adults to children. I have a PGCE teaching degree so very knowledgeable about the primary education curriculum. I am an outgoing individual who enjoys tutoring and passing on my skills and knowledge to others to enable them to thrive and broaden their learning and skills. I enjoy being outdoors and can often be seen making the most of the environment around me be that paddle boarding, canoeing, walking, climbing or exploring. I love to learn new skills myself and always eager to enhance what I already know or learn from others. I ensure all my lessons or tutoring sessions are fun and engaging. I take time to incorporate the learners needs and interests into each individual lesson tailoring it to each individual learner.

My lessons are described as fun, engaging, personalised and adventurous. This meaning that no two lessons are the same. I ensure in my teaching each lesson is tailored to participants within the lesson to make sure it is engaging to all. Tailoring to specific participants means that their individual interests are taken into account and teaching is done through these subjects. Some examples of this is learning maths through cars, learning english through food, learning about the body through climbing. I would say I am very approachable as a teacher and eager to encourage learners to their best and try their hardest.
