About Maansi

Hi, I’m Maansi. I’m 23 years old and originally from India, where I grew up surrounded by Bollywood music and dance. Dance has been a big part of my life since I was a child, and I’ve been dancing for many years simply out of passion and love for the art form.

I moved to the UK to study Business at the University of Manchester, and after completing my studies I recently moved to London to focus on building my own business. Alongside my professional goals, I enjoy sharing my culture through dance and helping others experience the fun and energy of Bollywood.

My classes are relaxed, supportive, and beginner-friendly. I understand that many people feel nervous when trying dance for the first time, so I focus on creating a comfortable environment where students can learn at their own pace while enjoying the music and movement. I break down choreography step by step so it becomes easy to follow, even if you have no previous dance experience.

Being from India allows me to bring an authentic Bollywood style to my classes, and I love helping students gain confidence, improve coordination, and most importantly have fun while learning something new.

Whether you want to dance for fitness, learn something different, or simply enjoy Bollywood music, my goal is to make every lesson enjoyable, energetic, and encouraging.

About the lesson

Hi! I'm Maansi, an Indian dancer based in London, and I teach fun and energetic Bollywood dance classes for anyone who wants to learn, move, and enjoy dancing.

My teaching style is very beginner-friendly and supportive. I focus on breaking down Bollywood choreography into simple steps so that anyone can follow along, even if they have never danced before. In my classes, we start with a short warm-up to get comfortable with rhythm and movement, then learn basic Bollywood steps and expressions, and finally combine them into a fun choreography to a Bollywood song. I also help students develop confidence, musicality, and stage presence.

A typical lesson lasts about 60 minutes. This usually includes:
• 5–10 minutes warm-up and rhythm practice
• learning and practising key Bollywood moves
• step-by-step choreography to a song
• repetition and performance practice

I have been dancing since I was around seven years old, growing up with Indian and Bollywood music and dance. While I am not a professional dancer, dance has always been a big part of my life and I love sharing that passion with others.

My lessons are great for:
• Beginners who want to try Bollywood dance
• Adults or students who want a fun way to stay active
• People preparing for weddings or performances
• Anyone who loves Bollywood music and wants to learn authentic moves

My goal is to make every class enjoyable, energetic, and comfortable so students can learn at their own pace while having fun.
