About Ryan
I spent the pandemic locked in my room grinding sims on PioSolver so I could take my game to the next level. If you’re looking to go from a break even / sightly winning poker player to absolute crusher, I’m here to help you. If you're a recreational who is just interested in becoming profitable, I can help you as well.
I started out playing .02/.05 online, and grinded through .10/.25, .50/1, and now 1/2 online. However, playing online was mostly a tool to improve my game, as there is way more money to be made in live poker given the weaker player pools. Now, I’m starting out playing live full time, and aiming to move up to 5/10 as soon as my bankroll allows me to.
Winning player online at 50NL (large sample) and 200NL (small sample), making ~$50/hour at 2/5 live, starting out career as full-time live player. Heavily studied in theory with the use of PioSolver and have plenty of experience playing live and employing exploitative strategies.

The lessons can be whatever you want them to be, whether that consists of introductory-level poker discussion, review of hands you have played, or high-level study using solvers. I think one of the best ways to learn would to be for students to record themselves playing a session online for us to go over. We could then pause and discuss at decision points throughout the video, as well as pull up some PioSolver sims to discuss overall strategy in these spots. Additionally, I have some short precorded sessions prepared at various stakes to use for coaching purposes.
