I am currently a family nurse practitioner in long-term care and short-term rehab. I also am a part-time nursing instructor. I enjoy teaching a variety of nursing topics. I currently am teaching pharmacology, geriatrics, and IV basics. I enjoy teaching and have also precepted in the past on a medical-surgical floor. I was a charge nurse on an intermediate medical-surgical floor for 6 years.

I aim to teach in whatever fashion you learn best.
I am a visual/hands-on learner, but can adapt lessons to whatever works best for you.
I try to use real-world examples instead of from a book to help you grasp concepts
