About Hassan
Most web development tutorials take you 80% of the way there — and leave you completely lost at the part that actually matters: building something from scratch, connecting a real backend, handling auth, deploying, and making decisions the tutorial never covered.
I'm a full-stack developer working across the complete modern web stack: Next.js and React on the front end, Express and Node.js for JavaScript backends, FastAPI for Python APIs, and MongoDB for data. I don't just know one side of the stack — I know how they fit together, where the hard wiring happens, and why things break when the tutorial ends and the real project begins.
Whether you want to build a SaaS product, land your first developer job, complete a bootcamp project, or finally understand why your app works in development but breaks in production — I've lived those problems and I can help you solve them.

There are two points where web development learners get stuck — and almost every student I teach is at one of them.
The first: you're a complete beginner. HTML, CSS, JavaScript, what's a component, what's a hook, what even is a server — it's a lot, and most tutorials move too fast or skip over the "why" entirely.
The second: you've done the tutorials. You can follow along and build what they show you. But the second you open a blank project to build your own idea, you freeze. You don't know how to structure it, how to connect the backend, or how to make decisions the tutorial never covered.
Both are exactly what these sessions are for.
What we can cover:
Front End:
React fundamentals (components, props, state, hooks, effects), Next.js (routing, server vs. client components, data fetching, layouts), UI and styling, responsive design
Back End:
Express + Node.js REST APIs, FastAPI (Python) for lightweight backends and AI integrations, authentication, middleware, error handling
Data:
MongoDB (schema design, Mongoose, queries), connecting your database to your frontend, environment variables and secrets
Full-Stack Projects:
Building end-to-end: front end → API → database → deployment. We work on your idea, not a copy of someone else's.
How sessions work:
Diagnose first. Before we write a line of code, I ask you what you're trying to build and where it broke. Most students have a specific gap — a concept they skipped, a connection they don't understand, an error they can't read. We find it in the first ten minutes.
Build together. We work in your actual codebase. You drive, I guide. Not "watch me code this" — you write it, ask questions, make mistakes, and fix them. That's where real understanding comes from.
Explain the why. Every decision we make — why this file structure, why this API design, why this database schema — gets explained. The goal isn't to finish your project. It's to make sure you understand it well enough to build the next one yourself.
You're in the right place if:
— You're learning web development from scratch and need a structured, patient guide
— You've done tutorials but can't build independently yet
— You're stuck on a specific project, feature, or bug
— You're a bootcamp student who needs help with assignments or final projects
— You want to learn the full stack — not just front end or back end in isolation
— You want to integrate a Python FastAPI backend with a React/Next.js frontend
Before our first session:
Tell me what you're building or what you're stuck on — a project idea, a specific error, a concept that won't click, or simply "I'm a complete beginner." I'll prepare a plan before we start.
If you don't feel a genuine improvement in your understanding after 4 sessions, I'll refund you in full — no questions asked.

I know Hassan Abaid as a dedicated and helpful Computer Science student and a friend. We have worked together on academic tasks, and I have seen how clearly he explains concepts, especially for beginners.
He is patient, supportive, and makes learning easy to understand. I highly recommend him as a tutor because he genuinely cares about helping students improve and succeed.See more recommendations
