About the lesson

I'm a young and passionate music teacher who was classically trained in universities and music conservatoire, with my qualified teaching status gained 2023. Students' enjoyment and skills acquisition are always the most crucial elements in my teaching. My teaching style is encouraging and cutting-edge, students will explore and develop their own talented and efficient learning styles in their music career and finally become independent learners. My teaching is customised to students' needs. • Music public exams syllabus will be covered if required e.g. ABRSM, Trinity, A-Level & GCSE / Interest class style can be taken as another option if needed (less intense) • My teaching emphasises injury prevention, practice efficiency, and music healing • 45 mins/ 1 hr • Lessons provided from beginner to diploma level, all ages, from classical to pop & ensemble • Base in Hampshire / online lesson • Group lessons available (please direct contact) • Piano Accompanist for exams • Lesson content (Pick what you want, *shows what is compulsory in public exams) 1.Pieces* 5.Musical background* 9.Performance skills 2.Scales* 6.Improvisation 10.Mental practice skills 3.Sight-reading* 7.Ensemble 4.Aural* 8.Song / Music writing

Perfect! David is an excellent cello teacher, he has professional knowledge on music and teaching skill, he has taught Jeromy with patient and has helped him to develop an interest on music. Before the lesson with David, Jeromy was nervous on cello lessons and has no confidence on playing the cello. But now, Jeromy can play the cello with confident on stage, and has distinction in cello examination.
