As someone who had the pleasure of receiving lessons from her, I don't think I can recommend Tâm highly enough. She had a fantastic way of making me understand the often times poetic and complex Vietnamese language, while also giving some fascinating insights into vietnamese culture in general. I especially want to note her patient and friendly style of teaching, which encouraged me to ask questions if I ever felt unsure about something. I also felt like it was easy for her to view situations not just from the postion of a teacher, but also from that of a student, so those times in which I wasn't able to comprehend something, she quickly approached the task of explaining it from a different perspective, which helped a lot to clear up any misunderstandings I had.

All in all, I had a great experience, (better than I ever had during language classes I took in school lol) and can recommend her services as a teacher wholeheartedly!

I met Tam when i started studying Vietnamese 3 years ago, at that point i was not confident i could ever learn to speak Vietnamese. Wit her support and focus on teaching effectively. Within a year i was able to have conversations with her. On thing that sets aside Tam from other teachers is her focus on improving and improving her teaching style. she takes her students progress personally. I feel very lucky to have met her student.
