About Dean

Tennis has been a lifelong passion for me. From playing school, club, and provincial tournaments as a junior to coaching and managing the teams I once played in, it’s been an incredible journey. I hold certifications as a Play & Stay, beginner, and intermediate instructor. Over the years, I’ve coached schools, clubs, and even touring athletes, gaining valuable experience while sharing my love for the sport.

About the lesson

Whether you're new to tennis or padel, my goal is to have you playing games confidently by the end of your first lesson. You'll learn to serve, rally, and keep score in a relaxed, engaging environment. Lessons are typically 30–45 minutes long and tailored to your needs, ensuring a fun and approachable experience for everyone. While lessons are primarily in English, I proudly speak all 11 official South African languages to make learning more accessible. Whether you're a beginner or simply refining your skills, everyone is welcome on the court!

Paddy demonstrates solid groundstroke fundamentals. Refining his forehand and backhand technique, particularly focusing on early preparation (racket take back, elbow facing the net) will enhance his consistency and power.

Paddy quickly grasped new techniques for his serve. Consistent practice and repetition will be crucial to solidify these new skills and develop a more consistent and powerful serve.

Overall, Paddy has a strong foundation and a positive attitude towards improvement. With continued dedication and focused practice, he has the potential to significantly enhance his tennis game.
