About Emmanuel
I'm a native French speaker, born and raised in France, with over 15 years of living and working in the UK — which means I bring both authentic French fluency and a genuine understanding of what it's like to navigate a second language in everyday and professional life. I know first-hand the confidence it takes to speak French in the real world, and that shared experience is at the heart of how I teach.
My background is in senior commercial roles across French and British markets, working with major organisations on both sides of the Channel. I hold an MSc in Business Management from INSEEC Paris and a Higher Diploma in Management from E.S.C.G Paris. This combination of academic grounding and over a decade of real-world professional experience means that whether you need French for your GCSE, for everyday life, or for the boardroom, I can offer teaching that is practical, relevant, and genuinely useful — not just textbook theory.
I take punctuality, preparation, and clear communication seriously — you'll always know what to expect from our lessons and what we're working towards together. But above all, I want our sessions to feel like a safe, encouraging space where you feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and making real progress. Learning a language should be an enjoyable journey, and I'm here to make sure it is.

I believe the best way to help someone learn French is to start by really getting to know them — their current level, their goals, and what makes them tick. So before we dive into any lesson, we'll have a relaxed conversation about where you are now and where you'd like to get to, whether that's acing your GCSE, chatting away on your next holiday to France, or feeling confident in a French business meeting. From there, I build a lesson plan that's shaped entirely around you.
Sessions are typically 60 minutes, though I'm always happy to chat about what works best for your schedule. Each lesson is a mix of targeted practice, real-life examples, and plenty of encouragement — I give honest, constructive feedback because I genuinely want to see you make progress. We'll celebrate the wins and work through the tricky bits together.
