Welcome to my profile! PLEASE NOTE: I only offer online tuition on Teams, Skype or Zoom. I am a native speaker of English (Standard British accent) and a dedicated, enthusiastic, highly experienced college lecturer and tutor. My current and former students describe me as very friendly, professional, and above all, student-centred. I firmly believe that one-to-one English language training, in particular for the Cambridge English exams, results in greatly accelerated learning and improved exam scores. I have an excellent track record in helping students achieve good scores on their exams. My sessions are always tailor-made for your specific language needs. As online 1-2-1 sessions are much more flexible than courses at a language school, you can arrange your lessons with me to fit around your other academic and work commitments. I look forward to working with you on your journey to success!

Perfect! Katy was kind enough to help me with a total of 6 sessions, even though I only had a week left before my CPE exam date. She has experience in helping others prep for exams, and I could definitely tell that she had knowledge to help. She is patient, kind and gives honest feedback. Katy tells you what you can do better, as wel as what you are doing correctly. She can carefully pick out what your strengths and weaknesses are. I appreciate all the help she has given me!

Perfect! Katy is a wonderful and caring person and a great teacher. She is very affectionated and sees things also from the students perspective. Her teaching skills are remarkable, very structured and good prepared.
Even after just five private lessons we felt so much more prepared and secure for our upcoming IELTS exam. She gives you a real valuation of your skills and tries to help you with your weak points. She did proof reading for our essays and answerd us a lot of questions even after hours. If we could give her 6 or more points we would definitely do this! She is awesome!!!
