About Zoe
I am a qualified secondary languages teacher with experience teaching at Primary, Middle, and Secondary schools.
Previously, I studied MA (Hons) Applied Languages and Translation (French/Spanish) at university. I then worked at a French university teaching English during the 19/20 academic year where I taught over 200 students in large, medium and small class sizes along with individual tutorials.
As a teacher, my favourite thing to see is the progress in students' confidence as they improve academically.

Whilst I believe that a good grasp of grammar is vital in languages, I also believe in finding enjoyment in the subject. Along with grammar, writing and reading classes, I offer more informal conversation classes as a way to promote natural discussion. In a conversation class I would choose a topic to discuss and use a range of current media from the target language country to make the class interesting for students.
I am a qualified secondary French and Spanish teacher. I have lived in both France and Spain and also hold a Masters in Applied Languages and Translation in French and Spanish.
My lessons can be 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on availability and content. I also offer classes focusing on the art of translation.
