About Maheeka

My name is Maheeka Ranawaka, and I am a psychology graduate with an academic background in English-medium study. I teach Psychology with a strong focus on clarity, understanding, and student well-being. My aim is to make complex psychological concepts simple, relatable, and manageable for students at school level.

I approach teaching with professionalism, patience, and responsibility. About the lesson

I believe Psychology should feel understandable and safe, not confusing or stressful. As a psychology graduate, my goal is to help students truly understand concepts rather than memorising them. I explain lessons in simple language, using real-life examples so ideas feel relatable and easy to remember.

Then we explore one topic step by step, using clear explanations, discussion, and short questions to build confidence. I also support exam preparation by helping students understand how to answer questions correctly, especially for Edexcel and A Level Psychology.
