About Lukas
With over 5 years of experience teaching piano, I help college students develop technical skills, musical understanding, and creative expression. My lessons are student-centred, flexible, and designed to meet each learner’s goals and learning style.
I combine traditional piano techniques with innovative and interactive methods such as improvisation, composition exercises, digital music tools, and blending classical and modern music.
I emphasise technical mastery, sight-reading, theory, rhythm, and performance skills, while also nurturing creativity, confidence, and personal expression.
I aim to create a positive, motivating, and inspiring learning environment where students feel challenged, supported, and excited to learn.
My ultimate goal is to help students perform confidently, express themselves through music, and develop a lifelong love for piano.

My piano teaching methodology focuses on creativity, guidance, and accountability. I believe learning piano should develop both musical skills and confidence.
Creativity is encouraged through interactive lessons, improvisation, and exploring different styles of music. Students are guided to express themselves and enjoy learning.
As a mentor, I emphasise critical thinking by helping students understand rhythm, technique, scales, chords, and musical expression. Students learn to analyse their playing and improve independently.
Accountability is a key part of my teaching. I help students set clear goals, maintain structured practice routines, and review progress regularly. This builds discipline, motivation, and long-term success.
Along with piano, I teach music theory, sight reading, ear training, rhythm exercises, keyboard basics, and basic composition to ensure well-rounded musical growth.
