I had the privilege of being tutored by Madoka for approximately eight years, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. She is an exceptional teacher who genuinely cares about her students and has a remarkable ability to bring out the best in them. She encouraged me to challenge myself, celebrated my progress, and made learning Japanese something I always looked forward to.

What made my experience with Madoka truly special was that she taught far more than just the language. She shared her knowledge of Japanese culture, customs, and etiquette, giving me a much deeper understanding of the people and the country. After the introductory session, I realised how closely Madoka-san had listened to me. From the first lesson onwards, Madoka-san planned the lessons on my stated requirements. Being an ex-teacher, I recognised that each lesson was carefully planned, building on my needs and goals and adapting to my learning methods.
