About Rachel
Hi, I'm Rai-Rai, a university student currently studying Psychology with neuroscience at degree level. I achieved strong results at GCSE and have a solid understanding of what is required to succeed in GCSE Psychology, both in terms of content and exam technique.
My approach focuses on making psychology clear, structured and easy to remember. I break down key theories, studies and concepts into simple explanations, then help students apply them to exam-style questions so they understand exactly how to achieve higher marks. I also place a strong emphasis on exam skills, including how to structure answers, use key terminology and manage time effectively under exam conditions.
A typical lesson begins with a short review of previous learning or identifying any topics the student is finding difficult. We then work through the content step-by-step, using examples and discussion to deepen understanding. The session finishes with practice questions and feedback so students can see where they are improving and what to focus on next.
What sets me apart is that I am a current psychology student, so I continue to build on my knowledge of the subject while staying closely aligned with how GCSE students learn and are assessed. I understand the challenges of revision and exams, and I aim to make learning feel structured, supportive and manageable.
My lessons are exclusively for GCSE Psychology students who want to improve their understanding, build confidence or achieve higher grades in their exams.

My teaching approach is structured, supportive and focused on helping students truly understand GCSE Psychology rather than simply memorising information. I aim to make complex theories, studies and terminology clear and accessible by breaking them down into simple explanations and then building up understanding step by step.
I use a combination of explanation, discussion and active recall techniques to help students retain information effectively. We regularly practise exam-style questions so students become confident in how to apply their knowledge, structure their answers and use key psychological terminology correctly.

What sets me apart is that I am currently studying Psychology at university, which means I have an in-depth and up-to-date understanding of the subject. I combine this with a recent experience of GCSEs, so I understand both the content and the exam requirements from a student’s perspective. This allows me to teach in a way that is relatable, patient and aligned with how students are assessed.
My lessons are exclusively for GCSE Psychology students, whether they are looking to improve their grades, build confidence, or strengthen their understanding of key topics in preparation for exams.
