About Julian
I am a recent graduate from a top 10 University for History in the UK. Studying a course that is academically rigorous and exciting, I bring these qualities, alongside a creative and intuitive teaching style to your learning environment.
I can help you figure out your strengths, argumentatively, or professionally/ academically, and present them in an organised, cohesive format that gets you results. I try to work with people to draw out their ideas, never planting my own. I'm easy to talk to and will go at your pace. The most important thing is that you feel comfortable presenting your ideas how you want to, with the support of structure and guidance from a helpful resource.

I take a tailored approach to tutoring. As we begin, I want to get to know what your goals are and what you are trying to achieve through our sessions.
I will draft up a plan in the first session which will target your primary goal. Then we'll try and offer some introductory teaching or mentoring support and see if my teaching style works for you. You can ask any questions and make sure to check your understanding as often as necessary. I like to employ metaphors and examples as ways to teach, which can help you to grasp the concepts talked about in the session.
I am approachable, friendly and non-judgemental. I value growth, development and fostering a supportive learning environment during sessions, so you can feel comfortable enough to ask questions and develop deeper understanding to meet your personal goals.
