About Ishwor

Hello! I’m Ishwor, originally from Nepal and currently pursuing my Master’s degree at Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS), Malaysia. My long-term goal is to continue into a PhD and build a career in academia as a professor. I genuinely enjoy learning, teaching, and sharing knowledge with others, which is one of the reasons I decided to start tutoring.

I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Logistics with distinction and have professional experience in operations, customer service, and international coordination roles. Through both my academic and work experiences, I have communicated and collaborated with people from different countries and cultural backgrounds, helping me develop strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Alongside my studies and professional work, I have also been involved in mentoring, leadership, and cross-cultural volunteer programs where I guided students and young professionals through discussions, learning sessions, and group activities. These experiences taught me how to explain concepts patiently and support learners with different levels of confidence and understanding.

As a tutor, I prefer a practical and comfortable teaching style. I understand that many learners know basic English but feel nervous while speaking. My goal is to help students become more confident in using English naturally in everyday conversations, studies, interviews, and professional settings.

I try to keep my lessons friendly, organized, and easy to follow. I encourage students to ask questions freely and improve step by step without fear of making mistakes. Every student learns differently, so I adjust my teaching approach according to their level and goals.

I believe good learning happens in a supportive environment where students feel respected and comfortable expressing themselves. I always try to create that kind of atmosphere in my classes.

About the lesson

I like to keep my classes practical and easy to follow. My aim is to help students improve their English step by step without feeling pressured. I focus more on clear communication and regular speaking practice than memorizing difficult rules.

In my classes, students can improve:
• Speaking and conversation skills
• Vocabulary and pronunciation
• Grammar for daily use
• Confidence during communication
• English for interviews, studies, and work

I adjust my teaching style depending on the student’s level and goals. Some students prefer casual conversation practice, while others want help with grammar, presentations, or professional communication.

A normal lesson usually lasts around 60 minutes.

I have experience communicating with people from different countries through volunteering, mentoring, university activities, and professional work. I have also guided students and young professionals in international programs, which helped me understand different learning styles and communication needs.

My lessons are suitable for:

• Adults improving English for work or travel
