About Sabira

Hi there! My name is Sabira. English is not my first language, but I’ve been studying it since kindergarten and know first-hand what actually works when learning a language to true fluency — not just speaking “correctly,” but naturally and eloquently. I’ve lived abroad for over a decade in four different countries, studied at a boarding school and later at university in Canada, and I’m currently starting over in Spain while actively learning a new language myself. Because of this, I deeply relate to the real-time challenges of language learning: uncertainty, confidence dips, cultural nuances, and the pressure to express yourself clearly in unfamiliar situations. I’m a writer and filmmaker, which means I work professionally with dialogue, tone, and context. This allows me to teach English that sounds realistic and appropriate, always tailored to specific situations rather than abstract rules. I’ve worked with both international corporations and smaller local companies and have extensive experience with job interviews and professional communication in English. I’m also a seasoned traveler, regularly navigating airports, trains, buses, border controls, and visa processes — without a strong passport. Whether you’re preparing for a visa interview, feeling anxious about a layover in an unfamiliar airport, worried about missing a connection, or simply adjusting to life abroad, we can cover the exact vocabulary and scenarios you need.
