I began working with Raluca in 2022 after my first trip to Romania. At the time, I only knew a few words and phrases and had no understanding of the grammar. Since then, I’ve returned to Romania many times, and with Raluca’s guidance, I’m now able to have real conversations with both family members and strangers. I’m not someone who naturally picks up languages, but Raluca has consistently met me where I am and helped me grow from there.

- I found Raluca based on a simple google search. The company I work for wanted me to learn German to continue growth within the organization. The owners of the company insisted on “in person” tutoring sessions. We met at a local Starbucks, and I’ve been taking lessons with her for over six months now.

-Raluca is truly second to none! I’ve never learned a second language and was skeptical if I’d even be capable. (I’ve made several attempts in the past without success). After only two weeks, I was starting to put together short sentences and understand my native speaking German colleagues! What differentiates Raluca from all other teachers is her passion, motivational encouragement and lesson homework which holds you accountable. I also really appreciate how flexible she is with her lessons. I travel often for work and you never know when flights change. Raluca works with her clients and what I love most is she never makes you feel like it’s an inconvenience for her to switch days or times! Incredible customer service!
