About Katie

Hi everyone! I'm Katie, and I'm currently a Cello student at Conservatoire (fancy name for Music College!). I would describe myself as friendly, patient and empathetic, and I love having fun and being creative in lessons! I achieved a distinction in Grade 8 Cello in 2019, Grade 5 Piano in 2019, and in Grade 5 Music Theory in 2015, and I achieved an A in A Level Music and a 9 at GCSE. I understand the frustrations that can come with learning an instrument, or feeling like you're falling behind in class, so I enjoy providing support and reassurance when it's needed. Hope to hear from you soon!

About the lesson

I aim to make lessons as fun and creative as possible! Lesson lengths can range between 30 minutes and 1 hour, depending on the needs of the student. I have experience teaching children and teenagers of all ages, as well as older adults. Standard of my students ranges from beginner level to Grade 8.
