About Daria

As mentioned above, being the President of the Student Union at my 6th Form, I had created a tutoring hub for A2 students to tutor AS students within the same subjects. I tutored an AS Level student as well, who was at a D grade when we first started our sessions and ended the year with an A. Tutored the year-below students in psychology during my time in A2. Casually tutor friend's younger siblings or anyone else that has been referred to me.
During my time at University, I was always planning group study sessions where classmates teach each other, a highly effective and comfortable study method. As well as this, in senior year of the degree, I casually tutored many first-years who struggled to grasp certain concepts as they usually had not previously studied Psychology A level. You will be pleased to know, I have been 100% complaint free.

About the lesson

My name is Daria, I have just finished my degree at City University of London (awaiting certification) in psychology. I studied psychology on my own before taking it for A-Levels and then progressing to degree level.

Thanks to my teacher and my passion for this subject, I finished 6th Form with 4 A*-B grades, receiving an A* in Psychology. Being the President of the Student Union at my 6th Form, I had created a tutoring hub for A2 students to tutor AS students within the same subjects. I tutored an AS Level student as well, who was at a D grade when we first started our sessions and ended the year with an A.

My tutoring style is comfortable yet challenging. As a tutor I can guarantee that my students are always at ease and are never to feel as though they are incapable of achieving their desired grades or understanding. With my teaching style, I am always keen to not only teach my students what they "need" to know but also, ensuring an all rounded understanding of the topic being taught, is crucial to their overall understanding and ability to perform their best during examinations. Overall, my teaching methods are versatile due to the variety and uniqueness of learning styles that exist, and my expertise not only extends to the curriculum of the student but also to how I approach the challenging subject topics.
