My specialization in general is in technical writing, particularly academic philosophical writing. I have studied degree programs in English, Spanish, and French contexts, which has pushed my fluency in each to a technical level beyond an everyday usage of language. I can offer conversational classes as well, though my specialization is in reading and writing, particularly for academic, business, or even literary language styles. This entails activities in session and written assignments outside of class that will correct quickly at the beginning of sessions. We take turns reading together and I stop to ask if you understand certain transition words/phrases, or to correct for pronunciation. For conversation based learning, I engage personal topics and use short videos of native speakers conversing to model typical phrases used in everyday small-talk.
