About Edith Laure

My name is Edith Yonguep, I am originally from Cameroon. I am a graduate Chemical Engineer from CPUT. I have experience in teaching and tutoring students as I worked as a tutor and teaching assistant in the department of Chemical Engineering between 2017 and 2020.
I am an enthusiastic, flexible and proactive person who loves helping others to better themselves. What makes me unique is my love for my what I do and my patience with my students. I always make sure that my students are comfortable around me and are free to express themselves.
I do not see myself as an educator only but also as a friend to my students. I believe that anyone can learn anything if they put their heart and mind into it.

About the lesson

My lessons are structured based on the need of the learner. Eg. I will teach based on the learner's material if he/she is taking French as a subject. Or if for communication purposes the lessons will be structured accordingly.
My lessons will be very interactive, I will start by teaching how to read/ pronounce, and spell and the learner will be given time to practice on their own.
And we will formulate sentences or write essays with the words that we learned.
