About Fiona

I am an extremely competent Modern languages teacher with over 30 years experience. I teach both primary and secondary pupils in Scotland. I have an outstanding highly successful pass rate at both N5 and Scottish Higher. I am a former SQA marker and currently work in two of Scotland's top performing schools. I am able to give expert tuition in all 4 skills, reading ,listening , writing and talking.

About the lesson

My lessons are tailored to your specific requirements should that be in person or online. I can provide help with all 4 skills or focus specifically on the areas with which you need the most help.
A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes but I am happy to go beyond that to meet your requirements.

Fiona is a fantastic tutor and helped me immensely in achieving an A for my Higher French exam. I needed some extra help - especially with my oral presentation & direct writing and Fiona was so helpful in giving me the help & confidence I needed to achieve my final grade. Cannot recommend Fiona enough!

Fiona tutored both my sons to Higher French level and both achieved A grades. She is a very experienced teacher, reliable and always came prepared to make full use of the available time with excellent resources. She ensured they were both prepared for written and oral aspects of the course and I have no doubt her input helped them achieve full potential. Would highly recommend
