About Katie

I went to the University of Birmingham and studied French, Spanish and Chinese. I achieved a first-class degree with a distinction in spoken French. I spent a semester in Grenoble, France during my year abroad and am now living full time in France working at the University of Lorraine as a teacher of English. I speak French at a C2 level and communicate daily with my friends, colleagues and students in French.

About the lesson

Having studied French for over 15 years in 3 different countries and now teaching English as a MFL at university level in France, I have gathered the knowledge required to create in-depth classes that are dynamic, interesting and informative. I am experienced with the GCSE and A level format and achieved A* and A respectively.

Their incredibly positive and supportive way of teaching has helped me to improve my French immensely. They always encouraged me to speak without worrying too much about my mistakes, while effectively working on my grammar skills.
If you search for someone who is passionate about teaching and extremely fun, Katie is your person to go to! Classes will never get boring with them, I promise!
