About Amy
My name is Amy and I am 18 years old. I have a French parent so I have been bilingual since a child and speak a lot of French at home. I went to a bilingual primary school in London, which allowed me to improve and vary my speaking abilities in French. I then went on to study in a secondary school where I prepared my 6 subjects for my International Baccalaureate, one of them being French at an advanced level. I graduated from the that school with a bilingual diploma in July 2022.

Having been born in a half French family, my parents found it very important to make learn the language from day 1. I think being able to speak another language is very important and a great skill to have but I know it is not easy! This is why I love teaching and helping children who are learning French in order to support them and allowing them to have extra practice during the week. I have helped a few children in the past by helping them with homework as well as reading and having conversations depending on their level as I believe speaking and reading in a new language is the best way to get more familiar with it.
